Elliots Expose

When Elliot writes about his experience with the Jock Rots and sends it out over the Kid Net, he includes the following quote in his letter."I think people ought to realize that stuff like this goes on every day…The rest of you are all part of it-because you let it go on and maybe you think it's funny, or you think it only happens to geeky outsiders and kids who are smaller or fatter or skinnier or don't have so many friends or so much money as you. So tell me-what happens when you don't have so many friends one day, or you don't have so much money, or something bad happens to you?" (91-92)
Blog Question:What is the message is he trying to get across to his classmates? (6Pt's)
I think that Elliot is trying to tell his classmates that when they see someone getting bullied they should not just stand there and watch like its a television show.Elliot is also trying to place his classmates in the place of the prey so that thy might be able to try to imagine how it feels. I think Elliot is also trying to tell people that anyone could get bullied anytime so you shouldn't laugh at someone else while they are getting bullied because the next moment it could be you that is getting bullied.

Ello =)
Your answer was well-written and your thoughts were clear. But it would help if you included evidence from the story and page numbers to support your answer. Other than that, nice job!!! Keep up the good work!

Hi
I agree with your answer very much. It was clear and I could understand it very well. But you might want to give evidence such as page numbers. Maybe you would also want to put personal experience.
